My social media life and pieces of opinions of the social media

 

Social media has played an important roles in our daily life, I have been used social media for more than ten years, the social media I was using in China at that time was more like a space to share daily life clips or save pictures, also it becomes a good way to connect with friends, and then another app calls Wecht are becoming more and more popular, I turned to WeChat since most of our friends used it too. All those applications are very specific designed for Chinese, I started to use Ins and Facebook when I came to Finland. It becomes a tool to build network with others. 

All the social media platforms are more likely to build connection with relatives or friends at first, there are more private contents were posted. It just a tool to share life with others. It facilitates communication and helps maintain relationships. It’s a place to show educational contents, latest news, or personal achievements.  

But things have changed some when more people come to the same social media platform. Some users are getting more followers and then he or she is wielding considerable sway over their followers' purchasing decisions, lifestyle choices, and even political views. And some other brands are trying to cooperate with this influencer so that reach their target audiences to get more profit. Many people are very concerned about what their image in the social media platform. Most people will get disappointed when they receive less likes or followers. Furthermore, someone gets embarrassed when they don’t have similar figure. The interesting point is that people have double side of lifestyle, they are making a good image on the social media platform. 

 There is more commercial content coming up in social media and it becomes less daily used and then turns to be a commercial platform. Celebrities and influencers are growing up every year. The most important things are getting information enjoying social media and just having fun.

 For social media, which is only a platform after all, your life is real, and live life in a real way.
